β β β β β Finally visited 6 days ago after a long procrastination process. And to be honest, I've been holding off on a review because... I don't want anyone else knowing about it!!
The food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and who doesn't love a cold Asahi on tap?! If you love barbecue, this is the place ?

β β β β β The food was good, and the ambiance was decent but the service left a lot to be desired. The prices are also too high for the amount of food you get.
Update:
As requested, I have sent an email with my detailed encounter to the owner and received a very pleasant and genuinely apologetic response assuring me that the steps were taken to improve the service and to make our next visit much more enjoyable as it should have been.

β β β β β $1 wing on Wednesdays before 7pm is a great deal. The wings are ok, a nice spicy kick to them and a good size.
The beef cheek was amazing, melted in my mouth but otherwise I found the brisket to be very dry and the ribs to be inconsistent, some dry and some just ok.
The loaded fries were too loaded, so much so that I almost couldnβt tell there were fires under the pile of topping.
I used to live in the United States and one of the things I miss is good the good BBQ Iβd get in Georgia and Texas. This isnβt really anywhere near that but I did still enjoy my visit to Smokin Cole.

β β β β β Fantastic BBQ, ribs, brisket, burnt ends and more. The wings are amazing and do not miss the side dishes! Truffle mac n cheese, smoked beetroot salad, creamy cauliflower. Great chips too. Go wild and try as many dishes as you can, arrive hungry, the portions are big. Really nice covered outdoor courtyard and a good drinks offering - cocktails, craft beers and wine.

β β β β β Great BBQ and great people. They were out of brisket when I got there but the beef cheeks were great - and the meat candy just awesome. Kimchi slaw was also a great offset to the richness of the meat. Great place and easily the equal (actually better) than great places I have eaten in Texas, Louisiana and California. Nice work team!
