I think there was about two hours between an initial call and my fridge being completely sorted, and the small bill was a nice surprise (especially considering I'd made the problem worse by trying to fix the fridge myself). The repair guy was honest in his appraisal and what to do in future - just can't fault the service, really impressed

A big thumbs up for this Company. I purchased a heat pump from them. Smyths had used outside contractors to install it. After like 8yrs, I got the heat pump serviced. The serviceman, a random guy who had advertised, told me that the outdoor unit should have been sitting on plastic blocks. It wasn't so he couldn't clean the unit properly. Smyths came to the party and completed the installation properly without hesitation! Thank you Smths!

Very friendly staff - although a couple of the sales folks could be a little better on the phone, very noisy in the background, hard to hear, and they tend to go talk to someone in the background in the middle of a call which is disconcerting - especially if you have hearing issues like me and then aren't sure who you're talking to. Good service, but be ultra clear about times and dates and job details with them - and keep instructions to them to an absolute minimum. They might be better with written instructions than over the phone. A basic booking for service was mucked up, leaving one of their servicemen to lift a drier down off a wall bracket on his own, which can't be all that safe. Wrong instructions got passed through at every stage. Delays with the job weren't all their fault, but it would have been good to have actually been informed of delays instead of phoning up. Also, when you have the facility to text a customer... it is expected that you can text back. They say they have no facilities for accessing or reading return texts, which is not something they tell you until you haven't received a reply for ages. All in all their service folks are brilliant, but those at the store/answering the phones don't have what it takes to convey information clearly and efficiently, and it's letting them down. Very good appliances, so far, working perfectly. Very happy with product. EDIT: they returned the wall mount brackets that I needed to keep for spare - in the wrong mailbox, so I have to get those back.

Called me 5 minutes before appointment time to say they were on there way ( awesome)! Technician Nathan was polite and extremely knowledgeable on all things appliance related. Talked through all the options and possibilities while working on the machine, waisting no time . Can't recommend these guys enough, easy to deal with, sound product knowledge and exelent follow up

We have just had our side-by-side fridge/freezer repaired by Smyth's. We found them genuine and actually eager to help despite their obviously hectic schedule. Great communication too. Price was good. Definitely should be the first call if your fridge is buggered. Cheers.

Recently dealt with the company re ill-fitting oven trays. They were very friendly, approachable and helpful. This approach was evident from the first phone call to the shop - receptionist was very helpful and provided me with various options in event new racks did not fit. I then dealt with a serviceman to the house and a follow up with Chris who suggested other options to remedy the issue. Fantastic team and obviously a great positive culture.
