★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Solar Chem on three different occasions and have had a good experience with them. Roly assisted me earlier and was spectacular. Steve and Justin served me recently and were responsive, kept me informed on the job and were courteous and professional. I will certainly call on them again and will and have recommended them to friends and colleagues.

Look at those 5 starers, they are definitely fake accounts. The owners are totally liars. Shame on them!
They ruinned some families.

Before our deposit, they are so nice and promised the best service
After the deposit they ignored you. Just sent few contractors who kept complaining the boss instead of doing the jobs.
So disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience with this roofing company. Their worker’s negligence and unprofessional caused horrible ceiling leaking to my property (check the photo). Waste of time keep chasing them up day by day to conduct the job. They charged us over $10k, the service we received is definitely not worth it. They push us to pay before repairing all the damages. And refused to repair the leaking crack in bedroom since they believe that’s not caused by them. Very rude, unprofessional, irresponsible, inconsistent.
DO NOT use this company if you do not want your house be damaged!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had absolutely terrible experience dealing with Solar Chem Ltd. Unprofessional, rude, irresponsible staff. We paid $8000 for the roof repair job and ended up with multiple leaks in the roof after the first rain. We had to pay $1600 for the roof consultant's reports in order to prove that the conducted repair job was done unprofessionally. Eventually we had to take this company to the Dispute Tribunal.
We don't recommend this company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a shame on this company and their staffs. They said their boss asked them to dismiss us because we are new immigrants?
We reached Steve initially and he was so polite. But after the despositing, he even said F words to us ... They just took our deposit and gone away ..
So disappointed with this company and this country.

Especially sympathetic as the work for the roof had to be delayed as my mother passed away she did not get to see the work done on her roof , but she would be smiling down from heaven and would be so "HAPPY" :-) thank you very much to you and your team Steve!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We're advised that leaks in spouting could be fixed with silicone rather than replacing the spouting. When the team came out to the property came to our address to fix the spouting it was raining and we asked if it would be OK to do it under these weather conditions. The worker confirmed that it's fine and if there's any leaking after the job is done we can contact the area manager to have someone sent out again at a later date. I thought it was weird that they said that there may be leaks after the job when he said that it's fine to silicone leaks in spouting in raining weather conditions. Sure enough after the job was done there was more leaks than before the job was done. I called the area manager he confirmed that he was with the worker that came to our address to do the job and he said that the leaks are due to it raining the day the job was done so the silicone didn't set properly. So he basically lied and said that the job could be done when he knew the outcome and proceeded to do the job and take out money. He referred me to an email address to contact the office to rebook the job for around November when it's warmer and drier but we had our spouting fixed in August. So after a long wait I started emailing and calling their head office from November till January. Everytime I emailed they would reply that they have forwarded it to the appropriate team and then no further update. When I called head office the lady that answered the phone would say she's going to the team to ask for an update and still no correspondence. Eventually gave up and now having another company replace the entire spouting at my address. Wasted $500.
