Well after all the negative comments on Facebook I can assure you first hand the solar zero delivers I’ve had my panels for 8 months getting savings of at least $80 per month They have just upgraded my system with battery backup so even more savings on the way plus no power cuts ya All this at no cost for to me I can’t praise solar zero enough And even more good news I got a free 421 cubic litre fridge freezer as a bonus for including 2deg broadband in my package Wow I thought nothing is for free now days but I was wrong Solar zero you rock ????

Its better to stay connected with the grid. We were with electric kiwi first then decided to go with solarcity. People, you just have to be careful prior to signing up with them. Its been 3 months since we signed up with solarcity and here are the issues; 1. We were with spark and they told us that they will pay the $200 disconnecting fee. Only to find out after that we have to pay it from our own pockets and then they will rebate us. Its very disappointing! 2. Solarcitys customer service prior to signing up is available 24/7 but once ur hooked up and the panels are installed, it is so hard to talk to their sales, tech, customer service, accounting and app team 3. Solar city said that they will base our monthly consumption from our previous electric supply. We pay around $180-200 with electric kiwi only to find out after a month that we got billed $270 without solarcity activating our app in order for us to see our electric usage. solarcity said β€œoh we can compare it next year and if its lower we can rebate you” meaning we have to wait a year for this?! 4. Connecting with solarcity is just problem after problem after problem plus lots of $$$$$ they dont pay any of your disconnection fee with anyone 5. Its a waste of time. Stay on the grid! Its cheaper and much better! Trust me on this

Been with solar city for while now from the start we said we needed more panels then what they recommend but didn't happen so we aren't seeing much savings. Then 4_5 months ago they offered a battery up grade with 2 degrees Internet so we signed up. Didn't hear anything from them then had two random guys turn up today to apparently install the battery unit and Internet. But these guys had no I'd no work sheets nothing so I tried to phone solar city but they weren't open so sent the guys away until we could verify what was going on. Then they called me to have a go at me for sending them away like I'm going to let some random guys into my house all day while I'm at work. Then they where supposed to send me our Internet setup details but haven't now we have no Internet as it has switched over and we have no setup details. Don't use these guys find someone who actually cares about there customers because these guys don't

Disappointing!! These people are totally incompetent. Each time you call them for a solution, you get a different answer. I was suppose to have my panels installed by end of March 2021. After much delay on their part, they were finally installed in August but again there was delay in inspections and of wrongly installing it and re fixing. There were numerous inspections with the last on 17/9/2021 ( on the day of lock down). I assumed that was the last as I was told by the inspector that he has switched the solar on and was good to go. Then after a week, I called to ask if I could monitor the system, I was told that another inspector was suppose to come but after a few days later I was told that it has been activated and running . I was send a link to monitor the system. All went well with the monitoring until a week ago when I could not monitor it anymore. I called and was told that there is glitch in the system and it is being sorted out. It did not happen. I called again today and later received a call telling me that the system is not activated yet. I was told that after its activated, I am able to monitor. However, I have been monitoring it for a while now, which the person I spoke to today did not know. This is a very frustrating . They do not know what is going on. I applied for the installation and hoped to have it working in winter but now is Spring and going into Summer. I was told its activated and not told it is not. What is happening?? Hopeless lot working there with no proper communication and do not co ordinate with each other. A big let down. I would be happier to cancel the whole process and they take the panels away.
