★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this clinic!! I was referred by my sister who has been going regularly, along with her husband and the family for many years now. I was a little skeptical in the beginning, not only I fear needles but as I have always been seeing an Osteo. I have had multipe injuries but particularly in my lower back for more than 10 years caused by aerial dancing. Since my sister has convinced me to try Sound Hope Chinese Clinic. So I did and booked with Dr. Winnie and in my first visit I also had a problem with my shoulder and back plus my lower back. After my 1st visit, the tension in my back shoulder immediately got fixed through cupping. And each visit my lower back got better and better and I'm now in my 5th visit and feeling very positive and Winnie tells me that I may only need only 2 more treatments. What a difference!!! And the service has been excellent, Winnie cares and gives me a genuine advice and I'm grateful for my experience with her :)

I have had massage from Dr He, Winnie's father, which I have found to be both beneficial and relaxing. Thank you Dr He.

After having the treatment and following her advice, my back pain has reduced significantly. She is a superb physio with a very friendly manner. Can absolutely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first came to this clinic 2 years ago for acupuncture and have now am a raving fan of the chinese medicine and treatment and Sound Hope. Winnie is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen and Dr He is wonderful for chinese herbs. I’ve had severe insomnia treated, strep throat, the flu and other ailments with this traditional chinese medicine which is raw and much better than the premixed herbs. Very lovely and ethical people and I highly recommend over any other place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Winnie was referred to me by my mother. Winnie is an amazing person with sound knowledge of both the Chinese and western treatments. She fuses together both practices in her treatments. I have been going to her for some years now and her diagnoses and treatment have healed my knees. She is very professional and educates you on how your body works and how to care for your body for ongoing good health. Her success and professionalism is evident in the fact that it is very hard to get an appointment with her because she is so much in demand. This can be credited to her treatments. I would highly recommend her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first came to see Winnie over 3 years ago with a shoulder injury. I was amazed with how quickly l started to feel better. After a chat l realised that l was treated by her father over 15 years ago in their family practice on Dominion Rd. When my parents visited from Wellington l recommended acupuncture to them. My father had problems with his back most of his life and he's been so happy with the treatment. And that's impressive for an older Polish person to admit. Just last year l pulled my shoulder and l saw another practitioner closer to my new job. I kept thinking about how much better Winnie at Sound Hope was in the past. Perhaps my injury was worse this time, l thought. After the exercise during the lockdown, l pulled a muscle in my leg which gave me sciatica. This time l went straight to see Winnie in level 1. She finished the treatment l was receiving elsewhere prior to the lockdown. Straight away l felt a huge relief. She really is the boss of her game! The sciatica pain eased immediately and after 2 weeks most of the pain is gone. Her lovely, caring and fun nature made me look forward to my treatment. Because she speaks fluent English she's been able to help with the holistic approach to health. I highly recommend this clinic.

“Auntie”, also has great skill with the herbal remedies and it is apparent that everyone in the clinic lives there mahi/vocation and all work together to provide the highest quality of care.
