Took my car for a diagnosis and a repair to a coil issue that I had. The mechanic decided it was "better" to replace all 4 coils instead of diagnosing the car and fixing the damaged coil. Got the car back and it was not driving well, when I took it back to them they said they did not know what could be wrong and do not have the equipment needed to inspect the car further.

Sparkz Automotive took over the job from the first company, and solved the problem with our vehicle swiftly and professionally. Competent team, quality work and at a great price. I took my car for a diagnosis after it was not running well they told me they weren't sure on the issue and it needed further investigation I mentioned it also needed a service and oil change they took advantage of that straight away and it was expensive, whether they did a proper oil change I’ll never know and then after they did the service they then explained there was a problem with the engine which would be a further extortionate cost for them to look at further and then the car completely would not start at all, they wanted paying for the service and oil change which they shouldn't have done in the first place until they fixed the original problem, I was left with a undrivable car they didn't offer any compensation or apology just , here is your car that won’t start and you’ll have to pay for a tow truck to collect it, frankly I regret ever taking my car to them in the first place as it was running before I took it there . Would not recommend them at all, I’d rather just breakdown on the side of the road then have these pretend to look at it and charge me ridiculous amounts.Not honest mechanics.

Shame they don't have an option for zero stars. I wanted a Trailer indicator light fixed. It started with the unfriendly phonecall on booking. Seemed like I was inconveniencing him by actually using him. I mentioned I might be considering replacing lights with LEDs. He said the base lights were $30 each and multi volt were $40. I said the $30 ones would be fine. On arrival I asked about the LEDs again and he said he only had the $40 ones on hand. I said they weren't the right ones for my trailer and that the $30 ones would be better. He said for this time of year (18th Dec being close to Xmas) he wasnt going to muck around for $10 a piece. I thought "Dont worry about the customer mate just look after yourself right". Then I asked how much to install them and he said total cost would be approximately $180 and I said well I have an expensive month with Xmas so I'll come back for that job in the new year and can he just fix the indicator for now. To that he seemed to become angry. He shoved the clipboard in my face and walked off. I found him again and asked when it would be ready. He said anytime pretty much. On pick up at end of day he just barked at me "Take it, take it". I said well what was the story? He said "Loose connection. You should get those Lights changed to LED. No charge today". Straight away I thought 'Did he actually do anything at all'. When I got home I checked and sure enough he hadn't fixed the light. Dont use them if you want friendly and honest service.
