Also operating under Mag & Tyre World, we provide a huge variety of services, and can help you with everything ranging from Tune-ups and Brakes and clutch inspections, through CV joints and Cambelts, to Auto-electrical services and Shocks & suspensions. Call us for Panel & paint services, Transmission and also Car grooming.
We offer AA vehicle inspections, mag and tyre repairs & replacements and WOFs.
Our affordable WOFs are only $20, which should give you a fair indication of our prices in general. Please note, WOF and Full mechanical services are available at our East Tamaki Rd branch only.
Furthermore, we are experts at full mechanical repairs, tyre fittings, puncture repairs, and also offer you good technical advice.
Tyre and Mag wheel packages are available from $699, while new tyres range from $65 upwards. You can also check our used tyres, which are from $25 onwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to fix my car tyre punture and a young man came and have a look at my car tyre, he then asked the grumpy old man who came passed if it can be fixed. The grumpy old man have a quick look at my tyre and said "It can't be fixed" and walked away while I was standing there so confused at what the old man said. The young man told me that the piece of metal that got stuck on the tyre is too big that they can't fix it. I asked him again if I want to fix it how much would it be, and he went to the office and came back and said it is $250. What a bloody rip off because I drove around to the next tyre service at the back and they fixed it for $30. I will never recommend Tyre World because of their poor Customer Service and expensive services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tried to rip me off by saying i need heaps more things done to get a warrant then i went to another mechanic & they passed it.....& replying to their reply, i use to live in nz but now live in aus but i had to warn everyone about how they ripped me off but if u dont believe me feel free to give them a go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are the closest and most convenient to go to. However, after they failed my WOF bcos of a minor issue I had with my front light, I was told it would cost around $200 to fix, i no longer go there. I got a 2nd opinion from another mechanic and was told the part cost $20 and took less than 10 mins to replace. I would advise if it’s your first time going to these guys BE CAREFUL! Stay and watch what they do. Do your research when they tell you what’s wrong cos chances are they are over charging or all b.s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't ever take your car here for a full service. The worst to deal with, they are the biggest rip.off. My car went in with no engine light on picked it up and its on. Questioned them and they tried to charge me $1200 for a job to rectify their stuff up. This business needs to be closed. I definitely know I'm not the only person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MIL took my car for a wof and service one of the workers tried to charge her $180 for service when it was actually $119. Tried charging me $350 for power steering pump $80 for power steering belt and $170 for sway bar link so my partner took it to work to check it out to find nothing wrong with the power steering belt and pump only the sway bar links which he bought for $90. Last time my car got serviced from here it came back with a loud squeal which was from a loosened bolt that I’m guessing they did so I could take it back to get looked at and charge me for it.
