โ โ โ โ โ I was really happy with the friendly customer service me and my mate got there and I appreciated the way the waitress helped us with which meal was the best for us to have as a main and she wasnโt too pushy or forceful towards our menu choices. I also liked the choice of beers they had on tap but my favourite was the Summit Ultra. All the food and drinks at Speightโs Ale House were a great deal and the customer service I received there was one of the best Iโve had so far! ??

โ โ โ โ โ I thought this place was supposed to be far more... idk what, but _something_. Overall it is pretty much just a pub restaurant, but the only key thing I can think to say is that what they are apparently noted for is their meal portion sizes, great for a post-ski meal. Got venison on the menu, a few daily specials, and gravy with most plates which is enticing. I got the seafood chowder bc the idea of hot soup was enticing but the bread and chowder was pretty basic so not getting that again. Should have stuck with the other items I had my eye on.

โ โ โ โ โ Great beers on tap and delicious fish and chips. Good selection of dishes on the menu. Staff are nice and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Good vibe and music. Kid-friendly too. I enjoyed reading little bits of history (and photos) about Speight Brewery and it adds character to the place. They have sports channel on the TV if youโre keen, NBA was showing whilst we were here. Excellent service. ?
