A nice park with a mix of native and exotic trees. Great for walking your dog.

Beautiful park filled with walking and bike trails. I did the walking trails and can’t wait to bring my bike here.

Not alot to do other than a few walks. Smells funny if wind is in wrong direction (from the tip up the road)

This is a nice bit of Bush at the bottom of Colonial Knob. Easily accessible for all ages and abilities. Our toddlers can manage the full loop with a bit if cajoling - even if they are tired out afterwards. There are some picnic tables and a big open area to run around in. The birdlife is amazing. Watch out for mountain bikers coming down the trails.

A natural reserve starting at Broken Hill Road Carpark. This is also one of the starting points for the Colonial Knob Summit walk, which I planned for later. Adjacent to the Spicer landfill. It is an arboretum of exotic trees. And has small easy walkways with interesting names. The sound of a small water stream can be heard at times and very pleasing to the ears.

Sometimes this park isn't safe, if you smell a strange smell in the air it's toxic volatile organic compounds coming from the medical waste facility down the road, Interwaste. If you do smell a strange smell I'd recommend leaving the area immediately and contacting the council to make a smell complaint. These compounds cause kidney and liver damage, and can potentially cause cancer.

Cool place for walking the dog amongst well established foliage and a series of easy trails. Currently squeezed between the dump and a commercial area. Few creeks and cool off track areas for exploring. Not a large amount of wildlife or bird life. Not sure how long we will have it for as it’s marked to become a mountain bike park.

What a fantastic place to visit, and go for a walk. Just a 10min walk away up the path, you can find so many Miniature setups that the kids will enjoy. E.G. Smurfs village, minions village, fairy city, Jurassic Park etc. See my photos showing all the cool item on the walk to see.
