About Stacey Gillies Interiors
From art, furniture, lighting, textiles and accessories, I’m an aficionado of beautiful spaces and love the process of designing internal spaces. I have an appreciation for eclectic interiors where I feel true style is found by fusing elements of history (from mid century through to the 80s & 90s) and also believe in the magic of the random and unpredictable. Finding the diamond in the rough is, in my opinion, what makes a home truly unique.
From designer furniture to no-name objects, I specialise in sourcing vintage pieces as part of your interior design scheme to ensure you have a truly unique space. Complementing pieces that have history with more contemporary elements and dreamy colour palettes my goal is to create clients a soulful interior that is one-of-a-kind.
With a business background over several years including roles within leading architecture practices such as Warren and Mahoney, I have gained key insights to the creative process.
More recently, my reputation in personal fashion styling through my fellow consultancy, Fashion Fairground, continues this passion I have for materials and colour while helping people feel their best - whether that be through their wardrobe or within their homes.
You can also find me writing interior design focused content for leading textile brand James Dunlop Textiles, arming me with relevant product knowledge that I can share with clients.
Based in Birkenhead on the North Shore, Auckland, I love to focus my time working with only a handful of clients for a dedicated and thorough result.
