★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a minor accident in my 2007 Mussel car, although Id been with my insurance company for over twenty years and never had an accident , they doubled my premiums.
A friend recommended Star, I called them , advised them I had a recent accident in my car, that had been repaired, and they still insured my car for half the price of my previous insurer. Brilliant!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a mototorhome windscreen leak, was dealt with promptly by an assessor who listened to our concerns. It was agreed that we could get it repaired within 12 hours and we found a company that could repair and that we both mutually agreed upon. I was very impressed with the quick and timely response given lockdown levels and just before Christmas. Been with star insurance for four years now and I doubt we will leave to go to any one else. This was primarily motivated by the support and sponsorship that Star Insurance provides for the motorcycle industry, in particular the recent announcement that Star are sponsoring the Hampton Downs Motofest event in early March 2022. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a new to us secondhand caravan at the start of 2019. We immediately looked for quotes to insure it. We found Star the most reasonable quote and the policy provisions and conditions suited our needs. We have since, unfortunately had to make a claim for a repair (too close an encounter with an oversize tractor on a narrow bridge). Making a claim is always a hassle but Star have a good online system resulting in the claim being accepted and the repairs made, by our nominated repairer, will no problems. We have been very satisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to insure a camper van with them as my regular insurance company didn't do modified vehicles. The premium was $40.00 per month or $400.00 pa. to save nearly 40% interest I paid the years premium. When I sold the van a few months later there was a $50.00 cancellation fee. Which of course was never mentioned. Pack of scoundrels would not reccomend
