We’re here to give you a hand, help you out, or give you some really good advice about whether school, study or working is best for you!
Sometimes it's difficult to get information so we’re here to make it easier for you. Start is about assisting you in creating a plan, that provides you with all the options and opportunities that are available to you!
We are working with the NZ government to assist you! If you are 16 or 17 years old and not in education, training or work, then we can help!
What can START do for you?We’ll be able to help you get the most out of school, support you with your future study plans, kick off some training, or even start work.
All this allows you to get your independence and have a good time doing what is best for you. Our team have loads of contacts and great ideas.
Are you planning to study or train? Are you interested in working?
If you are within receipt of a Youth Payment or a Young Parent Payment we are here to assist you and support you to meet your responsibilities in receiving government financial support. We will also help you gain the necessary skills and achieve your goals.
At Start we are in constant contact with education providers, trainers and tertiary education providers.
