Dropped a chain in to be sharpened on Friday and was told it would be ready the following Wednesday, which was a long enough wait, but they still hadn't done it by the Friday, so ended up taking it to Tomo's who are very efficient! This is not the first time that we have had bad service at Stihl Shop Taupo and do not recommend them to anyone. Really disgusting service!!!

Knowledgeable and experienced chap, he went over the mower in detail, answered all our questions , we drove off happy. I had read the earlier review and so took note of all the above. The workshop guys and other sales staff were happy and energetic. Many customers were bringing in machines to be serviced while we were there, and were geeeted as old friends. I would thoroughly recommend this store for machinery expertise and good specials.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely shocking service will charge for services that haven't been done the old sharpening blades of lawn mowers and never do sundries charges that they don't know what they are. I booked in for a service droped off on time then spent next 2 day's chasing up about when can i get my mower back they will make excuses which are just lies covering there incompetence for what is only a 2 hr job not done on time. Approach and confronted them and didn't get a refund or apology they are liars and thefts shouldn't be allowed . If you took something from there shop you would be charged for theft but if they take you money by deception for services not done it's ok. Don't get ripped off by this company.
