C	Christian Twemlow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice park! Nice view of the lake and the ducks and birds swimming around. Be aware though, lots of insects, wasps, etc. So watch out! But nice place to walk.

With two bbq areas, seems to be great for an outside party. One decent toilet with a water fountain just in front of it. The tracks were well maintained, however some visitors left their rubbish behind. It could be better if a playground were built there. Heaps of ducks and pulemos. Apart from that, good park to take your small kids.

M	M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy drive to here in Auckland. Not far from anywhere. Lots of off street parking. Beautiful residential houses around. Dog friendly and lots of rubbish bins. Public toilets also around. Amazing views. Walk is very easy and very safe tracks. The wetlands is good for kids and you might see people doing rock climbing. Ducks and swans also come to you for seeds and grains. It is recommended not to feed them bread as it makes them sick. Very well maintained area and safe for night walking as well since there are lots of lights along the track. Not too busy so social distancing is easily maintained even on a Friday afternoon. The views are definitely worth the slight walk up the track. Good for an easy stroll or even running. Would recommend this place for picnic with friends and family as there are lots of places to sit on benches and tables. Definitely recommend to come out to anytime, any day of the week.
