★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot for a 360-degree pano of the greater Auckland region. The car park is small though compared to its counterparts. From there there’s a round the volcano loop which starts & end. Down below you are able to see Stonefield (prior quarry), Panmure Lagoon & Tamaki River. By far you are able to see Rangitoto, Auckland CBD/Sky Tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A natural treasure of Auckland and NZL. You can get on it from mountain road. About 30min to summit. A lot of new houses down being built which indicates the progression of the city. Maybe one day houses will be built on the mountain? Who knows

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It looks very average from the outside. But after climbing up, it's really amazing. Much better than I thought. There is a sacred crater in the centre where it is not allowed to enter. Can have 360 degree view and kids can do grass slide, I think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a view of Auckland coast to coast. There is a bunch of new walks and board walks around the top. There is a great loop track around the stone fields lake below too that can all be included for around a 6km walk. Easy to have a picnic around the top or many other locations around the Mt.
