Straight Flush carried out a partial rewire of the house as well as replacing the hot water cylinder and the street mains cable. They did a fantastic job, turned up when they said they would, got it finished sooner than expected, identified issues and remediation's as they found them, kept us informed, and charged what they quoted. A very professional team that finished the work to a high-quality, We couldn't be happier!

Completed job, replaced gas oven regulator, in 15-20 minutes. Was surprised at the amount charged on the initial invoice. After I raised concern, I was told there was a 3 hour minimum charge. I think it is fair to expect companies to be upfront about minimum charges. I easily had three hours worth of other plumbing work at my house done. After a bit of back and forth, was sent the breakdown below. I think $240 to replace an gas regulator is unreasonably expensive. The hourly charge of $180 is also unreasonably expensive, I have used other plumbers who are $65-$80 per hour. Posting so others don't get caught out by straight flush

I'm disappointed with their service. I started to have issues with my central heating system after these guys serviced our gas appliances and central heating system. I sent multiple emails about it, but no one responded. However I kept receiving email reminders about the invoice that was soon coming up for due. This is highly unprofessional and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Alec was great. He came around to quote to fix our gas stove that had stopped igniting. While he was there I mentioned that our oven had never been installed properly by Harvey Norman's installation contractors. (They had said it was impossible). He had a look at it and said "no problem, I can do that when I come back to fix the hob". When he returned, he did the stove quickly and then installed the oven properly. What more can I ask for, a company that follows through on what it said it would do. The cost was very reasonable as well. Thanks Straight Flush

Staightflush recently installed gas radiator central heating at our place. All in all we are very happy. the service was excellent, the turnaround was approx 4 weeks from first call to completion, communication was good, and the installation was efficient, clean and non-obtrusive. The guys wre good and easy to have around. Highly recommended

Great service from Dom who arrived Christmas Eve to fix a leak which ended up being a major job to ensure we had water for Christmas Day , and then returned after the break to complete some other repairs . Our plumber of choice from now on !

Straight Flush helped us out a few years ago when our central heating unit crapped itself. They were professional and easy to work with, so we had them come out each year after that to service the unit and for any other heating/plumbing projects we had. They did promise a quote to replace our Infinity unit - they noted it was aging. The quote never arrived. I asked for a quote again this year and still nothing. This year, they serviced the unit as usual, but when the invoice arrived, I noted a whopping 20% increase in the fee. This had not been communicated to me beforehand, so I enquired, thinking maybe something had gone wrong or a part had been replaced. After a few days, I received a response telling me that a more detailed breakdown had been emailed to me, but it hadn't. I enquired again and received a blank email with the same attachments from the first email. On top of that, we smelled 'gas' (the additive in gas) for a few days after the service. Someone had to come back and tighten up the work previously done. They were meant to advise me the result of that work, but that didn't happen either. Very disappointing. Perhaps they have stretched themselves too thin? Either way, we will be looking for another company for any plumbing issues.
