Strait Marine Parts & Services Limited is an authorised dealer of Yanmar, Mercury and Cummins Onan Generators with access to the full range of parts, as well as servicing all Volvo Penta & Yanmar boat motors.
Note: As at August 2021, we have ceased being a Volvo Penta agent. This is in order to concentrate on the Mercruiser/Mercury brands as they complement Yanmar and other brands that we work with.
ABOUT US:
Strait Marine is owned and operated by Phil Trowbridge. The business was established in April 2002, and started off as a mobile workshop. Within 6 months it became the sole Volvo Penta Dealer in the Wellington region and after 6 years took on a joint agency with Yanmar, Mercury and Cummins Onan Generators
Phil has hands-on expertise in the boating business, having spent 2 years as relief engineer in the Mediterranean and has many years experience in living on, operating and maintaining boats.
We have full workshop facilities and are able to service all types of engines. We also supply and install equipment from plumbing to electronics.
