Dr Keira was very helpful and explained everything very clearly and make sure I was comfortable and always asked during the procedure I was alright and have short breaks to rest & breather

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wisdom tooth and molar removal with Dr. Keira and her team in April 2022. I can honestly describe the entire experience as pleasant, which is not what I was expecting given the procedure necessary and my apprehension towards it.
Initial consultation was very confidence inspiring.
Dr. Keira and her surgery team have a lovely manner about their communication and their work. There was no rushing or lecturing, and I felt like I was able to ask all and any questions I had. All surgery options were explained thoroughly.
I opted for IV sedation, which turned out to be like this:
Arrive on morning of surgery, lie down, have a chat, have IV, somebody pushed a fast-forward button, somebody fiddled in my mouth for a few seconds, time to leave.
No pain, No horrible feelings, No stress. Excellent. I barely remember it a week on. I do remember thinking how nicely the team worked together as they performed the procedure though.
Post-op recovery has been great. Recovery advice and prescriptions given have worked well and healing is on track with minimal discomfort.
On the admin side, everything was clockwork. Phone manners were excellent, emails replied to quickly, appointments were on time, billing was accurate, insurance claiming was straightforward.
Can thoroughly recommend Dr. Keira and the team at Strowan Oral Surgery.
