★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in just after 1pm, the place was really busy. Only one guy serving, making the subs & working the till but he was 'a machine'. Very impressive , well practiced method of working to keep it flowing. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ordered a foot long sub and when the bread was taken out i noticed there were flies buzzing around the cheese section and they were siting on the long white chopping boards which is gross. i decided to order and what i got was not great. i would avoid this place and try one of the other great eateries in taihape

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service ever. 3rd time in a row same experience with same subway guy. Never greet Asian people and his behaviour is like he is forcefully making subs for us. Subway has to look after such staff about their behaviour with customers. I don’t know but he probably need proper training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In many ways this is a typical Subway outlet. The food was the same as every other Subway.
The location at the southern end of town is convenient, with parking on the adjacent side street off the main road. This store has a nice floor plan. It's slightly elevated above the footpath outside and is quite large, with plenty of tables. The bathroom is OK.

I asked for a Gluten Free wrap- Is that without onions was the reply!!
It didn't get better after that. They couldn't tell me if any of the meat was gluten free and offered only lettuce. Didn't offer to toast the wrap or melt the cheese. Didn't know which sauces were glutten free and after asking twice I finally was given their list of gluten free products . The wrap was more or less thrown at me. Very rude custom service and no knowledge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in with our three kids and the young woman serving was so rude we seriously just couldn't believe her attitude and the way she spoke. There was an issue over substituting an ingredient for the kids and overall just a really bad experience. Hospitality definitely at it's lowest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we stayed the weekend in taihape. after seeing this place on mytaihape.com the other day we were told on the website that there food is good and i can say yes the food is delicious and will be stopping there again if im passing through. awesome recommendation from mytaihape.com and the service was amazing
