★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely stay, only one night at short notice. But we will be back to enjoy this spot for longer next time. Great big sunny room with a view and everything we needed. We appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in 8 different places while we were on vacation in New Zealand. While all of the place were very nice, the Sumner Bay Motel was by far our favorite. Great location, extremely clean and well furnished. The owners went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Perfection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a really comfortable place to stay. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We were having problems finding a place that would take us with our small dogs and Kay was so accommodating regarding this. I was also impressed that they supplied a darker coloured facecloth for Makeup. Very thoughtful.The units were lovely and clean as well as being conveniently located to the beach and central Sumner; and directly across the road from Joe's Garage. Thanks so much. We really enjoyed our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for just one night, excellent service and beautiful rooms. We loved being so close to the beach and to all the cafes and shops! There was even Netflix in the room! The owners are friendly and welcoming - I'll definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roger was very accommodating and an excellent host we arrived with our dog which we did not pre arrange as we did not realise we had to do that but Roger made sure we were taken care of. We also needed additional parking and Roger sorted that out for us too. The accommodation was clean and modern with all the facilities you will need and location is perfect for beach, restaurants and all else. We can recommend this Motel with confidence. Great place awesome hosts. Thanks for a great stay.
