Nice to sit there and enjoy all the decor. Friendly service. Worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and 'semi' busy at the time. Sorry to say but the two waitresses looked like they had a big night lastnight and weren't too keen on working today (Saturday arvo).
Food was portioned smaller compared to the Rolleston Joe's Garage. Waitress took orders by memory and forgot to add one of our requests. It wasn't a big deal.
They did ask for vaccination cards which was fine BUT, the two waitress had their masks only up to their noses and the one Chef had nothing on. Whats the point really?
Overall, a nice spot but customer service wasn't top notch today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very much disappointed in the meals today we ordered Teddy's best which was so small four mouth fulls later and it was gone. I had the chicken salad drenched in dressing with a couple of small tomatoes 2 orange cubes and small bits of chicken,you need to up your game guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice experience at Joes Sumner today. Waitress didn’t seem like she wanted to be there much but saw our table quickly which was good. Was very impressed with service turnaround! Our food was out in only a few minutes and was really delicious.

First experience wasnt great. Our waitress came across quite rude which made our experience not a great one. Had to ask for cutlery and side plates and the waitress didn't seem very friendly when we asked for these. Dumped the plates infront of one of the guests and walked away.
Came back again today and it was a whole new vibe. Service was fantastic. Super friendly.
Over my last two experiences we ordered a range of things. Burger, pancakes, caesar salad, fried chicken and large chips with gravy. Iced chocolate. Iced coffee. Milkshake. And hot chocolate.
Both times the food were good. Friend chicken serving i felt was a little small for the price you pay. But thats my personal opinion. Tasted delicious tho! The burger was great! Chips and gravy was so delicious, would be ideal to have a larger gravy jug with a large bowl of fries.
Iced drinks were so good. Especially the iced coffee reminded me of starbucks!! And the drizzle of honey was a nice sweet surprise.
Caesar salad is so yum! Chicken was super juicy and it had the right amount of flavour. Pancakes were super fluffy and super tasty!
We will definitely be back.
