★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shop here regularly for milk and vegetables and have always found it a great place to shop. Unfortunately when face masks came in as mandatory this year I have had to ask the staff at the counter to wear their face masks properly every time I go in. Obviously they seem not to care about their customers health. Now when they see me they make sure to cover their nose. I make this review as even a call to the store doesn't make a difference. All the customers are wearing their masks correctly.
Back in again today ,two weeks later and oh dear it hasn't changed. The young men stocking the shop had their masks only covering their mouth. One took his mask off to talk to another staff member. I am sad about editing my review because it had improved. I will be going elsewhere for now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went this shop couple of days ago. It was so dirty.there was a cracked egg shells lying on the floor. There was a water on the floor many corners not moped. Unfortunately use the toilet it was soo dirty.no tissue,flys hanging around. This is a Issue of food hygiene..

First impressions big display area not utilized to full potential.
Need to pay attention to basic hygiene customer service and display of products.
Fruit & veges looking wilted and unappealing.
Produce was crammed into display shelves which made it look untidy.
Competitive pricing but was let down by not getting the basics right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard Covid times obviously - but I didn't buy what I came in for. This was my first visit - trying to support local instead of a big supermarket. I have to be honest and say that I found that many of the fruits & veges on display were old/over ripe or already rotting on the shelves.
Not appealing. Outdated biscuits and packet items etc too.
Although there was a good selection of indian spices, and flavorings, the only nice fresh fruit it bought were the apples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of spices, nuts, seeds, flours, and Indian loose tea. There are all sorts of interesting flours, such as soy, corn (proper corn flour, not the thickening starch stuff), buckwheat, millet, rice, barley, sorghum, amaranth, etc. At first, I didn't understand what the flours were but then I found the English name on the back of the packet. Now I am baking ancient grain bread with a mixture of these flours.
