About Superior Swords Ltd
The wonderful thing about our Damascus steel is its always hand-forged, good old hammer an anvil. Artisan blacksmiths create these items using traditional methods, honouring skills passed down through millennia. This produces something intrinsically valued and beautiful. Each piece is uniquely different like a finger print, and no piece alike.
Damascus steel in the modern sense is created by forging stacking different types of steel together. Under intense heat and pressure this combination laminates. Applying various techniques of both layering and twisting the smith is able to produce an array of patterns. Original Damascus steel dates back as early as the Viking age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second sword I've purchased from Superior Swords and I doubt very much it ill be the last. Truly excellent craftsmanship is evident in the detailed attention shown in everything from the scabbard, to the hilt, hand guard and, most important, the blade. Top quality, carbon steel, lovingly worked to reproduce a piece of history well worthy of the men whose lives depended on the weapon in their hand.
The staff could not be more helpful and, importantly, they will not promise something they are not sure they can deliver. If they say three weeks, they mean three weeks, but if for any reason there's some sort of delay, they will contact you - you don't have to chase them.
I realise I probably sound like I work for them, but I'm don't. I love swords and history and I've dealt with other outfits in the past. To be fair, most of them aren't so bad. It's just that Superior Swords are, well....superior.
