★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best udon I've ever had! I had the katsu prawn udon noodle soup. Two lovely big pieces of prawn, wonderfully thick noodles, yummy bits inside, with the warmest most scrumptious soup ever! Hopefully I'll be able to come here again, just a bit far from home, but every chance I get, I'll come here! Toilets are relatively clean heres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little place is super busy BUT worth the wait ! I had the spicy chicken (D7) the dish was a good heat loads of chicken on a bed of rice for $11.00. Next visit I will remember to take a photo before I start eating :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sushi. Amazing Teriyaki salmon. Great service. I wish we had found this place ealier on our trip. We'll be coming back tomorrow (insha'Allah), our last day in NZ. You won't be disappointed. Those with different tastes have other choices nearby :)

this place serves the best Katsu chicken on rice in auckland in my opinion. I have tried many restaurants in CBD, east auckland and south mainly but sushi5000 produce the crispiest and freshest chicken, very generous portions and to top it all of they crack an egg with the green onions and capsicums. been going there for 5 years and consistency never changed. 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the spicy Chicken donburi and assorted sushi and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was fresh and packed with flavour!! The service was amazing, we were greeted instantly with the most welcoming smile and our order was complete fast. Could not recommend a place any higher than this place!!!
