★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far my favourite Japanese and sushi restaurant not just in New Plymouth but even New Zealand. You can’t go past a delicious bento at lunch or the salmon, scallop sushi balls at dinner. It’s a regular as our date night dinner spot as well as a lunch and take away fave. We have never been disappointed with a meal at Sushi Ninja and while at times there can be a bit of a wait if they get a busy rush, it’s 100% always worth the wait. If you’ve never been, do yourself a favour and book in a meal there soon!

Recommend booking in advance and reserving a seat by the train!
