About SWPT
We are an Acrobatic Dance school with some dance and technique classes to help our dancers to
reach their potential as Acro Dancers. Acro Dance is a style of dance that incorporates elements
from artistic gymnastics, ballet, lyrical, jazz, contortion, yoga and acro yoga. We follow the
Acrobatic Arts syllabus which has been created in Canada with input from Cirque du Soleil,
physiotherapists, dance teachers in ballet, jazz, modern, hand balancing specialists and more!
Acro focuses on 5 main elements: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Partnering and Tumbling.
