Our Story
Girl Native encourages indigenous women around the globe to express herself, her natural beauty and embrace her nativeness within. It is more than just a brand, it is a movement.
Skincare formulations include native plant ingredients to Aotearoa - New Zealand made using traditional māori techniques and tikanga.
In 2019, Girl Native was a finalist in the Pure Beauty Awards London for Best natural skincare product with its Kawhe/Coffee Body Scrub which includes Kawakawa Oil to strengthen the skin, while restoring hydration and providing intense nourishment.
In 2020, Girl Native was a finalist and Highly Commended in the Global Pure Beauty Awards Amsterdam for Best Inclusive Make-up Product with The BB Cream make-up and skincare product.
In 2021,Girl Native was selected as a sponsor for The Emmy Awards celebrity gift bags held in Los Angeles which featured the Kawhe/Coffee Body Scrub and Native Face Oil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A delicious Kawhe/coffee this morning. Tucked away in a quiter spot just beside the mall. A great escape from the Christmas retail madness. Lovely candles and other delightful products. Great staff and great vibe. Drop the kids at laughalots next door and you have a the makings of a fantastic day!
