★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bill's place Tairua Country Club Restaurant is brilliant. Great menu's variety for everyone and reasonable prices. Bill the chef is so lovely and friendly, Just like his wonderful team. We go there often and we highly recommend Bill's place to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keep this to yourself.Tairua Golf and country club have closed there bowling green and have opened it for Motorhome overnighters.Ten dollars a night for Two.Kitchen and toilets available.If you play a round club showers are free or $5 each otherwise.Fantastic but keep it to yourselfs.Booze is cheapest in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like a number of golf clubs in small aging communities, the Tairua club is battling on despite the odds. Golfers have to make the effort to support this club or yet another holiday activity will vanish. Sponsors looking for a good cause take note.

The golf course is outstanding and beautiful with a well maintained area and challenging holes.
New signage as to where the next hole is could be much appreciated for the people that are new to the course as it is like a maze , haha!!!!
The scenery is breath taking, having the rivers and the pinnacles at the foot of the course!!
The course is very unique and has lots of challenging aspects to it which I enjoy!
