β β β β β Fortunately I went there just for one night but I paid for listen an hot movie all night from other room..the smell in our room was disgusting and another people's still make noise until 4am...up too you if you want enjoy this stable

β β β β β I've just moved in. Not a great place. Place is dirty. No drawers or wardrobe in bedroom, no lock on the door, no rubbish bin. Only 1 toilet works, with no light. This place actually smells really bad, everywhere.

β β β β β We stayed here for 6 nights. Its a really good place for a few nights, cheap and comfortable. Close to the city and 1 block away from the beach. Angela and Jeff, the managers, are super nice and will always try to offer help. I would stay again

β β β β β This is more a hostel that has long term tennants. Manager is not on-site and communicates by email. Property very rundown and pictures/descriptions online very deceiving. Located on busy road with heavy traffic throughout the night. Would not recommend or be staying again.

β β β β β This place is a absolute nightmare. Itβs very cold during the winter and has very thin walls what makes it very noise. The noise comes from people who stay there long term and the manager Angela herself. The kitchen is very small and mostly occupied by the same people. Also the management smokes marijuana in there rooms so that the whole house smells like a drug house. Unfortunately there is no real communication with the management possible and if you have complains they donβt give you the details of the owner.
Even tho itβs the cheapest deal you can get in Auckland itβs definitely not worth the money. Better stay away. Additionally the manager Angela tries to charge you a cleaning fee afterwards even if that is not advertised.

β β β β β I have confirmed prior check-in for my prepaid and booked double room with private bathroom to find out they had no rooms available. Manager was not helpful and asked if I can find somewhere else to stay (at 9pm) when an existing guest was sent on manager's behalf to communicate that the room we were booked in was not available. It was also a room without bathr, so not at all what I had paid for. The service, facilities and overall appearance was very poor. Any pictures are misleading from the reality of this place. Shared toilet had knowingly no light and toilet seat was half snapped off but still attached to the toilet bowl. Not recommended to stay here at all. Dodgy clientele.

β β β β β Awful everything. Filthy. I had stains on my clean bedding, carpet and there had not been any dusting done in a very long time. The shared bathroom was a disaster zone, and obviously full of long term residents belongings.
I slept with my noise cancelling headphones on, on the top off the bedding, feeling very unsafe. Booked another place whilst there, one night was enough.
