★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our stay here, quietly humming with nature, we always felt safe, amenities cleaned daily. Beautiful people managing it, we meet wonderful people and even my little nervous ninny dog made friends. We are coming back for sure. Oh and the water is so beautiful. There's hidden treasures everywhere you look. See you soon Tapu Creek motorcamp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute campsite! $10 per person per night unpowered. Hot shower and toilets. Were clean when we arrived in the evening but by the following afternoon they really needed a clean - my recommendation is staff check up more on the cleanliness and remedy it before it gets too bad. Mens toilets and showers closed for renovations so only ladies were in use for everyone. Just one shower and 2 toilets but it's a small site. Rest of site very basic facilities (little huts with a cooker or a bench). Pay by honesty box by entrance and find own spot. Quiet campsite close to river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and serene spot right on the river. A real hidden gem not far off the coast but feels like you are deep in the forest. Clean facilities and hot showers even on a cold frosty morning. Rachel was a great host, would definitely return :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed just for the one night on our way to Coro. Loved our stay and the kind and friendly welcome we got. This was our first time to the camp site but we will be back. Clean and tidy wash up areas and easy to get around. The camp was full yet quite and peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So quiet, lovely, welcoming permanent campers, toilets avail. and showers at no extra cost... Clean facilities.
Brazier, and little kitchenette with gas plates, sink and running cold water.
No wifi so ideal for those wanting to get away.
Local pub 10mins drive.
Local vege stall a walk away - Plum jam and pickles are great!
Didn't use the wood oven but looked great.
They accept dogs on leads.
A fridge and washing machine available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprising gem of a camp site, dog and family friendly. Well run by friendly staff who were very accommodating when we cancelled and then re-booked. Bathroom was always clean with free showers (so rare). We were delighted to be part of a camp wide pizza night, the kids toasting marshmallows before playing spotlight was definitely a highlight.
