About Taranaki Country Lodge
Experience luxury and space in a setting with spectacular views, where the hospitality received by guests is always commented on. This working farm is close to the amenities a small city provides. The lodge is only a short scenic 10 minute drive from the New Plymouth airport and only 15 minutes drive from the centre of New Plymouth, a city known for gardens, walks, events and arts. The lodge is set on a working farm of 56 acres where guests are often able to experience seeing dogs mustering sheep or sheep being shorn. The lodge was architecturally designed to allow guests to experience New Zealand hospitality in a rural setting that is completely private.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was fortunate enough to stay at Taranaki Country Lodge for two nights. Highlights are the owners (Robyn and Jim) and their hospitality which is just brilliant. Beautiful roast on the first night, healthy filling breakfasts and a setting that is just fabulous. Spacious, comfortable accommodation, you can hear a pin drop and then the piece de resistance - The view to Mount Taranaki...a very special stay indeed.
