★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bowling club with probably best view in New Zealand. Overlooking the Great Lake and Mount Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe.
Been a member for two years before moving to Omokoroa. They have been two good years! Nice people, nice club, nice green and nice artificial green. Not too big a club, so you get to know the members pretty quickly. Always nice to have a wine, beer or other adult beverage after roll ups. Roll ups are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Play is all year round.
