A modern facility consisting of 500 fully serviced Marina berths. The Marina is located inside the Tauranga harbour and within 5 minutes of both Mount Maunganui and Tauranga city shopping centres. The Bay of Plenty is one of the fastest growing areas in New Zealand. Tauranga is also centrally located within the Bay of Plenty, which is known as one of New Zealand's finest aquatic recreation centres.
Marina berths range from 10.5 to 37.0 metres. Limited multihull berths are also available. Rental berths are available both short and long term - in some instances overseas vessels will be entitled to an exemption from the 15% GST (Goods & Services Tax) which applies in New Zealand on berth fees.

β β β β β Awesome place to go fishing. My friend almost caught a legal size kingfish one time. Relaxing and convenient to go to. There's a cafe located nearby as well.

β β β β β Easy parking, not many things around. Itβs only one restaurant there. There is no shop to buy anything there so make sure that you bring everything you need. They have public toilets so you can ask around if you cannot find the toilet to use.

β β β β β Beautiful place to go for a vacation if you are really interested in dolphin safari, this is a 5 hour trip which starts around 9am in morning and ends by afternoon 2pm, the two good boats are Dolphin Seafaris And Bayofexplorer, but I like the Dolphin Seafaris personally, their boat, the trip, we have seen plenty of dolphins

β β β β β The fishing isn't always the best here but tonight we had plenty of bites. Couldn't land one unfortunately. On such a lovely evening, we didn't really mind.

β β β β β Really good place to take the kids and family.
Can teach them how to fish off the pontoon as well as swim in the sheltered beach area.
The walkways also extend down there now and underneath the Tauranga Harbour Bridge. If heading down on a hot day make sure to take some form of shade, beach umbrella etc. Pretty exposed as there is not alot of trees or shaded areas.
