My experience with TAWA AUTO Services and Repairs. My new mechanic tells me today my vehicle has a blown head gasket at number 2 Cylinder Coolant entering Combustion Chamber. TAWA AUTO Services and repair reconditioned my engine for $8800 NZD approximately a year ago only to have the engine leak oil extensively from the sump gasket and Coolant from the right side Turbo coolant return hard line Banjo bolt crush washer. Also noticed the factory Oil Cooler had not been reinstated I Find this very strange as I paid to have the engine put back together 100% Anyway my Vehicle eventually overheated and blew the head gasket due to the coolant leaking from the right side Turbo coolant return hard line Banjo Bolt crush Washer or though multple TK cooling system tests came back negative. Now to complete this vg30dett engine will cost a further $4000 to put right! It go's without saying TAWA AUTO Services and repair will not be carrying out the Head Gasket replacement as the proven Cause of the blown Head Gasket was caused due to the engine overheating the reason it overheated is due to loss of coolant and pressure due to this leaking coolant from this LOCATION! Proof of this Via endoscope video footage and a trained automotive technician was presented to Stuart at TAWA autos by myself after a number of bookings TAS&R refused to even look at the car let alone find the coolant leak. On a number of occasions I approached Salesh at TAS&R he could not or didn't want to see or fix any of the 3 issues above! Only after 4 months and numerous bookings and muck arounds TAWA AUTO Services and repairs finally fixed these three issues, too late head gasket already well on its way out at this stage I suspect it was a undetectable hairline fracture of the Head Gasket at this stage. It Has been a complete nightmare dealing with TAS&R extreamly dishonest and deceptive restoring due to incompadent mechanical workmanship of TAS&R. However that's life! My dedication and commitment to restoring this vehicle has tested my willpower and hit me mentally and financially. Unfortunately I Can not recommend TAWA AUTO Services and repairs to anyone for mechanical repairs BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Anyway just wanted to update some of you as to my vehicle Restoration experience with TAS&R. Respray on hold due to the above setbacks. I have given TAS&R only a 1 Star out of a possible 5 Star rating as I am unable to post this review unless I give them a Star. Best regards Lance Louez

Absolute dishonest and rip off!Failed my car for WOF took to my mechanic they passed it.Charged me more than i was told and the problem was still there told me a different story when i took my car back to them. Even refused to have another look at my car ended up taking to some where else to get it fixed.People Be ware these mechanics are untrustworthy and unreliable.They lie in both of their workshops.
