★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Car alarm keeps going off randomly came to see them end of last year and paid nearly $200 just to be told they could not find a issue :( No suggestions on where to go next either or other options . Now i am left with my alarm going off 6 times a day and getting abusive notes from my neighbors and I'm out of pocket $200.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ really bad service. they took $800 from v near about 400$ to check what the problem is.. they saud they fixed it but still egetting that problem after only 2 days.. and now they are saying it can take more $1500 to fix it again.. not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dealt with the owner Mark who is a straight shooter, has a good sense of humour and juggles dealing with staff and customers very very well.
It was a very busy time for them with cars piled up and a back log of work. Mark recognised the need for my car to get repaired due to safety risk. Car was scanned, issue found, verbal quote provided and once I agreed the parts were ordered and car repaired. From start to finish the process took 2.5hours.
I really appreciated Mark not stuffing me around and getting the job done so efficiently.
Various members of my family have been going to Taylor Auto for years and I can see why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend - fixed issue with my power steering, clock and radio in under an hour and a half and for an awesome price. I'd previously had the car at another garage for 3 weeks without them being able to fix the problem so Taylor Auto Electrical totally saved my sanity! They'll always be my first port of call going forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember 2 years ago I took my 2001 Polo to get a couple of blown fuses replaced and to check why the ABS light keep going on and off, after picking it up the drivers window wouldn't go up so I went back the next day, they said they could fix it on the spot, charged me for it even after I told them the window was fine before the car was brought in. Then on my way home the ABS light went on and my car just died. I checked and they didn't replaced some of the fuses, took it again and this Julian guy said they would fix it so left it there for another day. When I went to pick it up the owner, Mark, was on the counter (on a bad mood) and yelled at me "What do you want now?!" I said I was there for my car, so he called this other guy out loud "get him our of my sight"...... the guy told me they had to rewire the whole fuse box and had to do a scan of the electrical again. Billed me again for it with $350, i spent on this whole thing $865....thought to myself back then worse mechanics ever but at least they got the job done..... 2 weeks later my car died again.....I was about to put the car to rest, before that I went to another mechanic at Henderson valley for a last opinion and he saw it was the earth cable that was not making contact properly, It was that easy!!! This mechanic charged me only $8 for a new cable, I even changed it myself on the spot. Car never stop working after that.
In conclusion, for a business that prides itself on getting "Your auto electrical problems solved quickly by the best auto electrical technicians servicing West Auckland", it was bad customer service, no respect for the customer and maybe not that great on solving electrical problems after all. Honestly just avoid this place.
