★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. Not far from Auckland, beautiful beach with white sand and blue water. Good for swimming, sunbathing or hiking. They have overnight parking site and grassie area for picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome beach! Great shallow area for the kids to frolic in. One major issue - getting to the beach from the main road / highway involves driving off-road dusty track for 11 kms. Be prepared to wash your car after. :) A brilliant surfers beach ?️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot, worth the gravel road drive. Waves can get big and choppy so make sure you can judge the tides, water and weather. Great at low tide to explore the rock pools. Also can jump off the cliffs when high tide
