P	Pippa Doodledo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice walk along the coast. Tricky to navigate over the rocks in places and a few muddy areas but stunning views.
A	Anton Oleinik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waipu Coastal Trail is a very scenic walk along the coast between Langs beach and Waipu cove. The layered rock formations along the way are truly amazing. The rock carvings are often quite fragile so you need to watch what you stepping on if you choose to walk off the established path. The wildlife observed from the track may include seals and various types of birds. The path can be accessed from both Waipu and Langs beach sides although in both cases there is some challenge finding it. Coming from Langs beach you need to walk few hundred meters up the road looking for the track sign on the right (sea) side. From Waipu carpark you can easily find the sign with the map and then you need to cross the stream - depth can be tide-dependent.

N	Nick Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the wander along the clifftops from Waipu Cove. There are only one or two sections that are difficult for children under 10 to navigate. Those with a fear of heights might find it a challenge too. But it's worth if for the pristine water and relatively empty beach.

Recommend good shoes for doing it and most importantly: check the tides in Waipu Cove. Probably best to start from there instead of Cove Rd. Had to cross a creek (til midcalf) at the end of the walk which wasn't very pleasant.
K	Kate Antamanova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to walk and take pictures, around two hours away from Auckland. Better to wear comfortable shoes for the track, which is about 1.5 hours long. You also can find a nice beach with white sand nearby and a little river with incredibly warm water.
M	Mc Harvey De los Santos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice short hiking trail. The path going to Waipu Pancake Rocks is running along a cliff of a beach. Although it’s not too steep but you just be careful if you are planning to see the Pancake Rocks during rainy days as it tends to get slippery.
T	The Steininger’s Adventure Story on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place. It was sunny and dry during our visit. This place is amazing.. it’s not advisable to visit if it’s raining as soil is a bit of clay and it can be slippery when it’s wet. The view are fantastic and rocks are spectacular!! My 4 years old daughter had fun and she was so amazed with the rocks.. it’s definitely worth to visit. The way going there is just right beside waipu beach. The walk going to the rock roughly around 30 Minutes but to see all the rocks you can walk farther around 1 hour.
