★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About a month ago, a group of friends and I decided after climbing Mount Te Aroha and having a spa we thought we’d try the RSA for some Kai. Only to walk into the RSA and be rudely greeted by a group of local elderly men saying “bend over pull down your pants show us your COVID pass, and might need to check your prostate”. We decided to ignore this disgusting behaviour and stay and eat(there aren’t many options in Te Aroha). The only reason this isn’t a 1/5 is because most of the staff were good the food was reasonable and they had a Scottish Pipe band play live.
