Seido Karate is a traditional Japanese martial art founded by Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura in 1976. Seido has a strong focus on developing & improving individual's physical fitness & mental well being.
Seido Karate was first started in Te Awamutu in 1980 by Sei Shihan Michael McIvor (6th Dan Black Belt). The club has produced a solid list of Black Belts over the past 40 years & stays dedicated towards improving the fitness & confidence of all students who walk through our doors.
