β β β β β Charming, humourous, presentation of what could be a very dry subject. Presented with enthusiasm and love. Loved the 'Random Space Facts' and the VR experience. Excellent value for money, easy parking and close to coffee and lunch.

β β β β β I had never heard of this place before, but was so surprised at how cool this was. We learnt so much and Dave is always there to help. He is friendly and welcoming, and knows just a thing or two about space ;)
I know many who would love this place.
Thanks so much!

β β β β β Lovely place to go visit. Talked with the owner. Lovely guy. Will be bringing the kids through. Kiwi schools need to get in contact with him. Kids would love it. Call him to book a visit. (078701966) It's well worth a visit.

β β β β β Space Center - located just outside the skirts of Te Awamutu, Kihikihi. The kids have been here before a couple times. They chose this spot over going to the park.
The Space Centre brings an vary knowledge of space, rockets, general facts etc. It is complied with virtually reality head sets - which the kids enjoyed and a wonderful guide known as Dave.

β β β β β A must-visit in Te Awamutu/ Hamiltonif you're into space exploration and astronomy.
Space exploration history has been captured in great detail with interesting objects and newspaper articles.
A child- friendly and engaging place - All our kids aged 2-8 enjoyed their time here.
I had great fun doing mini-quizes/tasks of varying difficulty to earn my "Ensign" badge.
The VR bit is really cool and completes the package.
Dave is super-friendly and keen to answer questions. 5 stars for being a kind and respectful host. :)
Well worth the time spent there! Will definitely visit again. :)

β β β β β Absolutely incredible. My two boys loved it. We were there for 2 hours and would have stayed for longer if we weren't due elsewhere. So interactive and informative with fun games and quizzes. Can't recommend it enough!!!

β β β β β Very cool. Loved the live feed monitors and videos. Interactive for adults and kids. Brought a Star Disk, showing southern hemisphere. This guides a person what stars are showing in the nights sky relative to the day/current date. There is also info/guidance on which binoculars or telescope is best for viewing the night sky. Owner very knowledgeable. I will be back to try the virtual reality experience :) Thanks
