β β β β β I went to this hotel for a week the stay was lovely, mildly luxurious and the rooms a fairly large. the showers were lovely and the room cleaning was nice. I stayed here at the second week of j]June. the stay was not that cold. The hot spring spa was also nice.

β β β β β Pleasant old hotel. Inside nicely presented in restaurant and really nice food. The grounds could do with some tidying up of gardens especially by the mineral pool. Pool was lovely and hot but needs a bit of T L C. Would make a real statement having a spruce up. .

β β β β β Waste of time calling it Te Puia Springs. The hotel was not open at 11:00am. Only guests are able to use the pools. Many others stopped while we were there wanting to use the hot springs, but couldn't. It would be good if council or iwi took over establishing /renovating the hot Springs for the public. The hotel looks run down and unkempt.
The Trading Post over the road was clean with friendly customer service. We enjoyed a coffee and a bite to eat.

β β β β β Style of a Saloon! Plenty space in bar, a lounge area with a big tv that has freeview and Netflix this is good for the kids keep them distracted! Past the lounge is the restaurant where you can eat decent size meal for good price. $13 for my egg burger this was yuumy. If your a customer hot pools is 11am -9pm. I had a swim in it realized it was slimy against the walls. My dad pointed this out to me after I swam in it! ... Beds were comfortable, but obvious stains from previous spills. Overall a 3 star.

β β β β β Not clean. Floors dirty, spider in room, stains on sheets. Everything dusty and dirty. Bed sheets smelt clean, but had gross stains. Bed very uncomfortable, had a terrible sleep. Common areas dusty, musky and dirty. Restaurant/bar closed so can't comment. Wifi unreliable unless you're close the the main foyer. Definitley not the price we paid. Best thing about it was checking out

β β β β β Great location, historical building with character, clean room and bathroom, relaxing thermal springs but remember to bring some food to cook. Staff were very helpful and welcoming! I would definitely stay again!!!

β β β β β Not really a place as shown on the advertising -more of a hostel type accommodation. Room very small but beds comfortable-but so easy for them to alter a couple of things to improve it significantly -like getting clean crisp sheeting and washing down the window frames and putting a coat of paint on them.
Bathroom clean & tidy with new everything & great "rain" shower head but once again the window let it down
The front of the hotel could be easily cleaned up by sorting out the overgrown vegetation -perception is everything !!
And unfortunately the single hot pool was so hot it was ridiculous & could not get in (& I like my spas hot !!)
So would be better to promote it a little more realistically

β β β β β Really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed 1 night while away for business, bed was super comfy, the mineral spa was heaven. A few things could be fixed up, but for an old hotel it's amazing place to stop at. Was just a shame we had to leave so early in the morning. Thank you
