Awesome views with Mount Maunganui in it. Great gardens and native plants and trees. Also nice bush walks with a waterfall. Kids enjoyed it and watching the butterflies. It's free entrance but there are donation boxes at carpark areas to give a few coins. Take your camera or phone to take photos and bring water. Next time we will have a picnic. There are public toilets as well.

Lovely gardens for the price of a gold coin donation, and dogs are welcome on a lead. We didn't do the big walk but you can see enough of the gardens with a leisurely walk around the lower tracks anyway. Recommended.

Great and beautiful place for walking and relax. It's one of the most see place in this area, highly recommended.

Beautiful place and not a super long walk so you can definitely fit this in your day easily. Kid friendly and so much greenery! The waterfall was great but would be better after a heap of rain. I recommend !

Wonderful walks and many, many gardens to explore. Artistic sculptures everywhere. The walks includes hills and stairs but it’s not difficult. Dogs are allowed.

What an absolutely beautiful place, at no cost this is a must see place to go, lots of things to looks at and photo opportunities. Some bits can be a bit steep so bring appropriate footwear if possible, and all effort going into maintaining this place is incredible so if possible give a little donation at the entrance ?

Great place, tranquil and very healing. The grounds are full of surprises butterflies at every turn and wonderful sculptures/art. The loop takes you right into the heart of the bush. Would love to watch a performance in the amphitheater.

Haven't been here for ages and forgot how lovely it is. There is plenty of parking and has some rustic toilets just along the way. The paths were gravel so be careful on steep parts. We entered from right side and apart from uphill climb, were a few steps upwards. Coming from right, still uphill climb but steps go down. The gardens were beautiful and lots of sculptures, some interactive. View from top stunning although need reasonable amount of lung power to get there. Grassy area at bottom for picnic or throw a ball around. No fixed charge, just a box for optional donations.
