★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stopover for a short break when driving towards/from Bridal Veil Falls on State Highway 23. Large parking, next to the Surfside Church, no facility. Beautiful view of the Wind Farm over the landscape at far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alright look out, it's not really that close and kids loose interest straight away. Has a board that explains the turbines etc which is quite cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped by there at dusk when there’s no wind & the blades were in stationary. The wind farm is on the hills opposite to the car park with SH23 between. The view is good but they look “flat” with no obvious “field of depth”. The car park is next to a church & near the Waitomo gas station. Quite easy to miss when driving fast
