TechHelp is now very much a family business, my wife Wei and I have been working together for the last couple of years. The business is an vessel which allows us to combine our different skill sets. On some projects we work together, while on others we work separately. β β β β β Richard took on the job to maintain the IT system of the Paeroa Community Support Trust. The system is cloud based on Office 365 and SharePoint. The Paeroa Community Support Trust holds confidential files for all services they provide, e.g. Budgeting Services, Food parcel, Out of School Care and Recreation, Supervised contact, ... Richard stated several times that he has no understanding of SharePoint, yet he took on the role. The lack of ethics continued when he hijacked my old account and other accounts of ex staff. Supposedly it took month for him to set up an auto responder and forwarding of an ex staff email. Instead all email send to the ex staff email, e.g. SomePersonalName@, was read by the new Chair Maureen Jackson. The people emailing that email address, had no idea, that they were sending emails to another person, aka Maureen Jackson, the new chair of the Paeroa Community Support Trust. Technically it would have been no issue (for an Network Administrator), within minutes of that staff leaving, to set up an auto responder giving the sender the informed choice, to either contact the Paeroa Community Support Trust on a different email or to contact that ex staff on their personal email.
