The kitchen has pretty old pots and pans so good to take your own. Easy drive to cape reinga.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Cape reinga and booked a room in this hotel. We rest for one hour and went to cape reinga light house.
The problem with my family there was , no cafe , no food nearby upto 70 kms. We spoke to boss and left the property. We would have stood there for couple of hours and we found her very nice because she refunded us half of the amount .
Next morning I got a message and she asking for refund back. She said you used our bed and shower and she wasn’t aware of that. We didn’t even use the shower but still blaming us. The last thing she said I will be aware of people like you. Terrible , rude lady and very small and conjusted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a night, the host was lovely. If I had to pick something I would say the bathrooms are small and tight with the exception of the shower, shower was fine. Still a great place to crash for the night.??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice small lodge in far north. Infact it is the northern most lodge as per Google maps. They have well maintained 3 bed rooms, common area and a kitchen. It's an hour's drive from Cape Reinga. A good option if you want to see sunrise at Cape, but don't want to camp outside.
Squeeky clean.
Friendly host.
There are no shops or restaurants nearby. So make sure to bring your food.

Me and husband stay for two nights, and was really nice.
The bed was really comfy, room big enough even for 3 people.
The lady (receptionist), she is so kind..
There is no cafe around, but there is kitchen you can use for cook some food.
The lodge is close to Cape reinga lighthouses, spirit bay, ninety mile beach,and some walk tracks.
Recommend for anyone who would like to stay in the upnorth..
