A negative was when I picked up the Model 3, it was covered in dust and the battery was only 20% charged. It definitely took the shine of the new car experience, especially given the 3 month wait. Absolutely love the car though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: 1 star to 5 stars. Turned out the problem wasn’t because of Tesla parts not being available. It was RS Lane that was the issue; they are very incompetent. The Tesla team has been very helpful in resolving the issues, and they have since moved away from using RS Lane for authorized repairs due to the volume of avoidable issues.
Bought a Model 3 Performance. Solid car all around. Unfortunately cracked my rear windshield, and Tesla's replacement glass for my repair won't arrive for... wait for it... 6 to 8 months! Wonderful! Just be aware that replacement parts in New Zealand and Australia are heavily backlogged, likely due to prioritization of usage in new vehicles. Keep your glass safe! RS Lane, the authorized Tesla repair shop in Wellington told me that have many Tesla cars waiting on parts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real shame I don't feel valued as a potential customer. Passed from pillar to post , no call back , no care to look after me ....disappointed!
I asked to speak to the manager and he was away , his next in line is too busy to take a customer call , that's what it feels like. Hardly going to rival the big car makes if you can't rival their excellent customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Love my new car. Test drove a Model 3 Performance. Loved it so much that as soon as I got home I ordered one exactly the same online. There was a 6 month wait before picking it up. But that was enough time to renovate my garage. Hassle free pick up.
