not the perfect looking restaurant nor owner/worker,.. BUT the best thai food i have here in NZ, the man actually ask how we want our food to be., Fish os great, not like the other restaurant that offer fish but 30%fish and 60% flour coating..,their fosh on the food was fantastic. and generous serving though, thanksss if ever we drive again and pass levin we will be back for sure... lots of gppd luck.....

β β β β β Best Thai food I had for a long time . Home away from home Thai food . Pad Thai is exactly what I normally have at home. Absolutely recommend this place . Stir fried basil is also amazing ! Not a fancy place however great food and great value.

β β β β β I got a Chicken thai green curry. And I was put off, the chicken pieces were grey, they did not look like chicken pieces. The soup felt like the chicken pieces were swimming in coconut cream, with broccoli ?. Has no tastes. If I could I would not give a star at all. The grey chicken pieces put me off. I would not recommend this Thai place to anyone.

β β β β β I feel really saddened to give this review to be honest. I felt like these guys were really struggling to make ends meet, and they're trying their best. Sadly though, when I walk into a restaurant and pray I don't get sick, that's saying something. Unfortunately my hubby and I were too polite to walk out once we had sat down.
Where do I start?....The floors felt like they've never been cleaned, my shoes stuck to it with every step. The tables were exactly the same, and so was the plates and placemats that were on the table ?ββοΈ Thankfully you don't need to eat off those plates!
The menu wasn't extensive but that was ok. After my first impressions, I decided it would be safest to go with beef or lamb, so I chose satay lamb for my main and curry puffs (gari puff) for entree. They don't offer any drinks there at all.
My "curry puffs" were what I could only assume was your typical store brought samosas in a box! But it was a generous serving lol.
My main...I'm a foodie, but I left it. I only ate some of the rice. My so called lamb, was off cuts of gristle!! Not a single, tender piece of actual lamb in my meal at all. It was so disappointing and not at ALL what I expected.
So sadly I would never recommend this place for it's food but the two guys were lovely and they tried.
PS...We didn't get sick ?

β β β β β This place really packs in the flavour with the perfect combination of flavour and spice! Ask for the Thai Banquet, it's not on the menu, but at $25 per head it's amazing value. Great choice for our staff Christmas function.
