★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lowest place I've ever been to, cannot even give them 1 star, but I have to since this won't submit my review. It is quite interesting, how we turn up with 12+ customers and they gave us such a dirty look because of our skin colour. Disgusting really, it's 2018 and seriously I was shocked at how they didn't even have plates, forks or even cups. We ordered and continued smiling back to them and carried on eating while they stood their staring with a very racist face expression. I don't speak for every customer but for me and my guests this place's service don't deserve a star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! The lady owner always remembers us and our order even if we havent been there for a while. She asks about my family if they are well. Sometimes she gives free food as bonus for buying lots.
I love their food! Best chicken & chips in town. Also, the best homemade pies around!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop advertises as the best chicken in town. This can only be true if they are the only chicken shop in Levin. The chicken was soggy and had no flavour to the coating.
The steak and cheese pie had a very odd aftertaste that I cannot even place, maybe a little like warm plastic? It also had maybe a teaspoon worth of cheese at the most.
The chicken skewer tasted ok, but had about 3 hard pieces of gristle.
Realistically this place is ok at best. The food was pretty cheap. Classic case of getting what you pay for I guess. Wouldn't really recommend unless you're on a budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Bun's Bakery and Coffee Shop is located on the main st of Levin. They provide a good range of hot and cold food. Both savory and sweet. The food items are freshly made and well presented. The prices are very cheap. There is lots of space and plenty of seats in the cafe. They also have a toilet for customers to use. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. We had a good meal there and will definitely stop there again the next time we are passing through Levin. Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bubble tea was very average, had a creamy taro, size was good and the jelly was probably the best part. Think they’re more about quantity over quality! Wouldn’t recommend it. Worth the drive to Palmy!
