★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the Batch on a very busy lunchtime but by the time we got to the front of the queue to order there were tables free. The staff were super friendly and the food good. My 6 year old was super happy with his pancakes. I would come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite hot spots in Invercargill. Love the coffee, the decor and the food. Staff are very quick to serve you. Plenty of business people visit here on a weekday morning. Only one suggestion though - please add a dressing to your quinoa green salad when you serve it - there was no flavour to it when I tried it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed another nice breakfast at the Batch with my sister, great food and drinks, friendly service.. Only down side is table barely big enough to hold our order.
If you are in the area definitely try for yourself, I doubt you will be disappointed :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just ordered carrot cake, ginger bread and ice chocolate for taking a break for waiting check in at this famous local cafe. The cake and bread taste are so traditional but ice chocolate taste is a little bit light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always pumping so prep for a bit of a wait. But it’s busy because of the great fare. Might be a bit pricey for some items. Staff are great, interior is modern, I hit it for lunch every week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cafe with absolutely beautiful sweet treats - the perfect stop if you want something a little more elegant than the usual cafe fare! Be aware that they can be very busy, especially during the morning, so plan your visit accordingly.
Their "Savor the South" menu is available in April 2022 until 2pm each day. For $23, it includes:
- Beetroot cured salmon
- Confit fingerling potatoes
- Poached egg with a fennel emulsion
- Hazelnut & flaxseed praline
