★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got great advice on a battery for my old vw kombi. Great service and friendly chat. Bought a charger at the same time to keep the battery healthy. Sadly the charger decided it was meant for greater things. Took the charger back to battery cell where it was tested and decided it was certainly not happy. Brand new replacement charger supplied and battery was health checked.
This is what good customer service is all about. I drive 30 mins to battery cell from my home but wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a compressor from them less than 2 months ago, and it's broken already. Phoned up to ask what now and was first told to sort it out with Auckland, only to be told to go back again. I was told to post it back so they can decide what to do with it. I said I will have to buy another one, while they sort it out then because I need it. I was then told to stop being abusive and that's what you get for buying something on line. I told him he is bloody rude which he replied I shouldn't swear at him and dumped the phone. Matt your customer service is pretty pathetic and bloody is not a swear word. They are pretty quick to send out something, but really slack on fixing stuff. Very poor service.

He even help me with the instruction on how to install it. He really know his stuffs around batteries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in to replace my dead car battery. Guy I spoke with was friendly and helpful, showed me all my options. Battery was much cheaper than I expected. I was able to leave my old one there to be recycled for no extra charge. Easy parking in front. Highly recommend.

I had been elsewhere and was perturbed that the business didn't check my batteries but diagnosed new ones just by looking at me. The price for the new batteries seemed rather high, so I called in to Battery Cell and asked if they would test my batteries and advise me as I kept running out of power. Matt was friendly and helpful, he tested the batteries and showed me the result. 'Bad, replace'. When I asked about my options he showed me a range of deep cell batteries and explained the differences between them. I chose top of the range performance wise as I will be living in the bus full time. The price installed was about half what I had previously been quoted.
I found Matt knowledgeable, helpful and honest and I would highly recommend him to other brand new RV owners.
